Do you need a guy?

Here to take care of the little things so you can enjoy your time at the lake!

I have been a Gilford resident for the past 29 years; we raised our two kids in the Gilford school system. Prior to moving to the Lakes region, I lived in Massachusetts.

Before moving up here full-time, I commuted approximately two hours each way every weekend for (5) yrs. During this period of time in my life, my career was very demanding. I was working 55 -60 hours per week and constantly traveling.

The Lakes region became MY escape … MY place of serenity…

As commuters, we found it very challenging to keep both houses clean, organized, fully stocked, and landscaped. After doing this weekly commute for 5 years, the last thing I wanted to do was more chores or personal errands when we arrived.

The idea of waiting in grocery stores, going to get beer and wine, checking on my boat and jet ski and making sure that they were registered, inspected and gassed up became a logistical nightmare. Then repeating the process in less than 48 hours later when it was time to leave was not fun.

As you can imagine, my time with my family, my friends, and enjoying the lake was getting to be a real challenge. Our stress levels were high, my patience was low, the kids were cranky, and the water toys were barely used.

This is when I made the decision. I “need to hire a guy or a concierge service” that could help me handle all the tasks that I either didn’t like to do, or didn’t know how to do, or was unwilling to trade family time for these chores.

So, back in 2001, I started hiring a “concierge service” that would help us handle these chores for my family and me. We started to reprioritize boating, swimming or just sitting on the beach with our kids vs running around like a crazy person. Our stress levels dropped dramatically.

A little more about me

After graduating from Chelmsford High School in 1980, I went on to get my business degree from Assumption College in 1984. Later that year, I started a customer service position in Clinton, Massachusetts. From 1984 – 2014, my corporate career included roles as VP of Sales, VP of Operations, and President/CEO.

In 2014 I transitioned out of the corporate environment and made the decision to be part of the  local automotive industry. This allowed me to be closer to home and manage my growing business here locally.

In 2001 I purchased my first business here in the lake’s region. I owned and operated this business for (4) years and then I was fortunate enough to sell it to Cumberland Farms. Later that year I purchased a campground in Gilford I still own and operate today. After 20 years of running the campground, I am blessed to say that it is sold out for the foreseeable future.

So here I am today, helping others get things done who are busy with a hectic lifestyle. If my services might interest you, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Even if you’re not sure you want the service, or if your family is new to the lake’s region and has questions, please don’t hesitate to call me.

Please enjoy the lake region, and remember, don’t blink because time goes by so fast.
